I hope you enjoy this website of my artwork. I have over 30 years of experience being a freelance artist. These pages are some of the work I have done over the years. My specialty is pet and animal art. I will consider any subject you have in mind. Over the years I have drawn or painted a wide range of subject matter. If you are interested in commissioning work from me please go to my Pricing, Policies and How To Order page. Below is a visual and written list of the mediums I work with. Certain pieces offer a view of the work in progress by clicking on my mug logo. A portion of the proceeds from any commission will go to The Greg Biffle Foundation for animals.
Pencil & Graphite Powder I like to work with this medium because of the detail and control I have. Each drawing is worked in layers of penciling. I use specific drawing pencils with a variety of hardness and softness. I can do any subject in this medium.
Color Pencil This is my favorite medium to work with. I love the control, detail, sharpness of line and vibrance of color. Layering the color gives me a wide pallet to work with, not just individual pencil color.

Pen & Ink This is a bit less detailed medium to work with. It has a totally different look then other mediums, a bit "harder" look. Black, white, or gray animals look the best in this medium. More technical subjects like homes, and objects also look good in pen & ink.

Pen & Ink with Watercolor Overlay Adding watercolor over the pen & ink gives the subject a more softer life-like look. This is not like doing a pen & ink drawing AND a watercolor painting. It is only adding a watercolor wash over the pen & ink.

Oils & Acrylics A more time consuming mediums. Although a long lasting art form, oils take time to paint and dry. Oils do not dry as fast as acrylics, this does allow the paint to be reworked or remixed.

Watercolor At times I will work with watercolor. My style painting with watercolor is a "dryer" technique.
